As Front Office Service Manager at Radisson Blu Royal Viking, you will have an extensive contact surface and a multifaceted role! You are responsible for the Front Office on a daily basis, you are a duty manager, a guest relations manager and a people manager! If you thrive on responsibility, love challenges and want to grow within the hotel business, then this might be the right role for you!
Key Responsibilities of the Front Office Service Manager:
• Participates in and ensures the delivery of a continuous and high standard of service in the reception
• Overall responsible for the hotel and meeting & events when management team is absent
• Achieves hotel and departmental targets for guest satisfaction, room revenue and company initiatives and promotions by supervising the Front Office operation
• Apply yield management to maximize revenue and occupancy
• People management, including scheduling, manning and recruitment
• Responsible for identifying the team members’ training needs and the introduction of new staff
• Motivates the Front Office team and focuses on improving and increasing service delivery efficiency
• Develops and recommends appropriate training and development to meet Hotel and departmental needs
• People developer/exporter – coach, develop and lead the reception team
• Continuously make sure to develop your skills and qualifications within your field in order to further improve the department’s performance
Requirements of the Front Office Service Manager:
• A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member supervision
• A positive approach, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for producing high quality customer care.
• Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards
• You enjoy varying working hours, including evenings and weekends
• Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities
• Working knowledge of a Property Management System
• Basic IT and administrative skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English spoken as well as written
Additional information:
Terms: Permanent full-time position with a 6-month probation period
Start date: Upon agreement
