The team and your role

We, the Online Shipping Tool team, are a DevOps team passionate about providing a world class  web UI for Postnord’s sending customers in the Nordics. Our vision is “easy and nice” for all our users.

As a frontend developer you will be working with the Nordic web UI Skicka Direkt/Online Shipping Tool used by our customers to buy freight and other related value added services.

You will be responsible for the Skicka Direkt/Online Shipping Tool frontend lifecycle where you will work closely with your product owner and your team, other business stakeholders and customers to discuss ideas and features. We also use analytics tools to find out more about our users’ preferences. You will work in an agile community together with UX from a design perspective, your backend colleagues for accessing systems and data as well as with your frontend colleagues. Together we innovate, develop, implement and keep the solution updated and relevant.

As a person you are committed and responsible and have a passion to deliver value. We value cooperation and working together and helping each other within and outside the team. You should have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a developer particularly in frontend frameworks.

 

Your profile

- As a minimum a couple of years of hands-on experience working with JavaScript modern frameworks preferably Vue.js & Typescript.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with REST API integration.
- Experience working with AWS or other cloud service providers.
- Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and/or Swedish.

Bonus:

- Familiarity with frontend build tools such Vite, Webpack or Rollup.
- Knowledge of state management libraries, such as Pinia.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks, such as Vitest or Jest.
- Ability to work with other frontend frameworks or libraries, such as React or Angular.
- Familiar with node.js, NPM and private packages, Bitbucket.
