Are you eager to grow both personally and professionally? Are you willing to collaborate with our engineers to bring new ideas, solve challenging problems and help push the boundaries of online applications that bring value to millions of people, every day? If your answer is ‘Yes’. Join us for the opportunity to become a key member of a cross-functional team during your internship. We will place you in the heart of our Aftonbladet development team.
What you will do:

You will join us for 2 months (June-July) on a full-time basis - the internship is paid.
-
Experience different ways of working depending on the challenge; pair-programming, mob programming and the opportunity to work on your tasks.
-
You will be paired with an engineer, who will mentor and support you during your internship.
-
You will solve real-world problems and watch your changes go live on Aftonbladet the same day you implement them.
-
Collaborate with all members of your cross-functional team; Product people, UX designers, front-end developers, and full-stack engineers.
-
At the end of the internship period, we would love for you to present a summary of what you have done, and learned, as well as suggest potential ideas and share your findings.
About you:
-
You are deeply interested in Front-end/Full Stack development in a JavaScript ecosystem (JavaScript, React, Node.js, etc).
-
You are a 3rd-5th year student.
-
You are interested in coding and programming languages, and might even have completed some projects on your own.
-
You have good English skills and you are not afraid to use them daily.
-
You are curious and willing to learn, and you have ideas which you would like to implement.
-
You will be based in Stockholm during the internship, but you are able to work remotely 3 days per week if you wish to.
-
We understand that you may not have work experience just yet, so instead we are keen to learn more about your skills, how you will help us bring value to our customers, and what you have done so far that you are proud of!
