Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Tech Lead to join our growing team. As a Tech Lead, you will be a key driver of our technology and product development. You will join one or more development teams and support them with your knowledge and experience to help everyone perform their job at their best. This also includes ensuring the quality of the technical deliverables and timely execution of projects. You will constantly raise the bar and strive for excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Make sure that we develop scalable, maintainable, fit for purpose, future-proof products that delight our customers.
Be part of one or more development teams and contribute to their success:
Drive the creation of great software architectures.
Guarantee that we develop high quality and sustainable code in line with our standards.
Participate in code reviews.
Contribute with your own code.
Teach and train the other engineers by means of individual feedback, group feedback during the team’s ceremonies and dedicated Knowledge Sharing sessions.
Drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Interfacing with various stakeholders including Product Management, Design, other development teams, etc.
Improve the maturity of our web applications by driving initiatives to increase scalability, resilience, efficiency, quality, and security.
Explore innovative technologies and drive their adoption across the company.
Together with our principal architect, other Tech Leads and senior engineers set the technology standards to be used by all development teams.
Qualifications:
At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience as a developer, the majority within front-end development, preferably with React.
2-3 years of experience working as a Tech Lead.
Deep knowledge of Next.js
Experience / Knowledge of the following:
Complex high-volume web applications in production.
GraphQL, REST API, etc.
Backend technologies, preferably .NET.
Database technologies such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB
Cloud computing on AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Version control systems, preferably Git.
Different testing tools for front-end and back-end testing covering Unit testing, end-to-end testing, etc.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English.
Excellent collaboration and technical leadership
Meriting qualifications:
Open-source contributor
Experience with SEO
Experience with Design Systems e.g., MUI (Material User Interface)
Experience with Accessibility
