We are looking for a Simulation engineer for Fuel Cell development, to be part of the Sourced Power Systems team, a department within Sustainable Power Systems organization.
With a product lifecycle mind-set, you will be a key person for future Fuel cell system development and drive our products towards zero emissions. You will get the opportunity to follow the development from advanced engineering, new product development and long-term product improvements.

Work / Role description System engineer.
We are in a transition phase into new sustainable technologies, this role will give you the opportunity to act, learn and grow. It will offer you technical challenges and give you the chance to interact and collaborate with fantastic colleagues from all around the world.
Your main responsibility will be to simulate the fuel cell system in terms of performance and system functionality. You will be part of the work through the complete design phase, from start to product maintenance
Activities that could be included in the role:
Simulation of the system functionality and performance to optimize the product.
Simulation of energy consumption and predictive models, thermal management and fuel consumption optimization based on machine duty cycles.
Develop simulation cases based on machine duty cycles and system limitations.
Support machine testing and rig development including evaluation of data.
Support the definition of requirements and design of the system.
Be part of verification and validation for the fuel cell system and machine integration.
Within the department you will contribute to the long-term Fuel cell system roadmap and identify improvement areas as well as competence needs.
Who Are You?
You are a true team player who also can work individually and represent the team. You have an ambition and strong interest to develop solutions for future needs and climate challenges. You are a solution-oriented person with the ability to see the bigger picture. You want to be part of the cross-functional engineering team to integrate the fuel cell component and to develop the overall system needed for our machines. You have some experience or strong interest from simulation and engineering, preferably related to battery electric vehicle, fuel cell or internal combustion engines. What you don’t know today, you are eager and willing to learn.
To be successful in this role you need:
Knowledge in Fuel cell system development or similar.
Strong knowledge in simulation tools as Matlab Simulink, Python or similar system.
Good communication and collaboration with other persons and functions.
To work in a structured and analytical way.
Be fluent in English, however Swedish and/or German is an advantage but not necessary.
Good To Have
A devoted engineer, M.Sc or B.Sc, with some years of experience in related area. You are used to work as a part of a team, responsible for yours and your project team deliveries.
