Fuel system Development Engineer

Your role

As a development engineer working in our team, your assignments will vary between design, testing and coordination. Your overall responsibility is to ensure that your assigned component is developed to meet our project goals. On a day to day basis your tasks and responsibilities will include:

· Specifying requirements and coordinating development tasks with our suppliers.

· Design and layout of your assigned component.

· Representing the group within cross-functional projects at engine development, including purchasing, production, service and with the other TRATON brands.

· Planning and analysing results from component tests on rig, in engine test cell and on truck applications. You will also be responsible for verification of your assigned component.

· Determining trade-offs to ensure hardware is in the correct status to meet project goals and delivering on these goals.

 

Your Profile

· You are a team player with the ability to interact well with other functions within the company and the other TRATON brands.

· You are self-driven with a focus on solutions and the ability to structure your own work as well as coordinate tasks with our suppliers.

· A major portion of our work is carried out in collaboration with international partners so you should have good communication skills and be able to express yourself both verbally and in writing in English. Swedish language skills is an advantage.

· You have a Bachelors or Master’s degree in engineering and minimum 3-5 year experience working as a designer.
