In this Planning & Fulfillment role you will be responsible for purchasing goods from internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers according to delivery schedule, transportation mode, price, special requirements, terms and conditions. You will be ensuring that purchasing activities are aligned with company purchasing policies and procedures, monitoring supplier performance and executing expediting activities.
You will secure excellent service for all existing and new customers.
This position reports to Planning & Fulfillment Manager RDC.
Your responsibilities
Order release: Releasing purchase requisitions and initiating purchase orders in the system in alignment with customer requirements (based on ERP and standard operation procedures). Monitoring suppliers´ order acknowledgments and dispatch advices along with the inbound freight, customs clearance and local transportation processes.
Order expediting: Monitoring the purchase orders backlog and performing regular expediting activities with internal and external suppliers in order to ensure the customer on time delivery. Handling of urgencies, minimizing the late backlog, proactively identifying root causes and recovery plans.
Goods received: Tracking goods received at the warehouse in order to verify appropriate delivery, ensuring invoice processing and service level to the customer. Managing inbound non-conformance reports and discrepancies with suppliers.
Interface: Monitoring the interface with suppliers’ systems (e.g. EDI messages) and resolving errors in order to ensure data quality / accuracy and operations continuity.
Performance: Creating and updating suppliers´ performances reports. Overseeing supplier performances (on time delivery, quality, lead time, reverse logistics, planning parameters), conducting periodical performance reviews, and resolving related issues.
Collaboration: Developing effective communication and relations with suppliers and with other stakeholders (e.g. logistics team, materials planners, etc).

Your background
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in demand or forecasting role with global experience
Degree in logistics/supply chain/business management, and/or relevant experience
Broad understanding and knowledge in end-to-end demand and supply chain
Experience in SAP/ECC or similar ERP applications
Teamwork and collaborative focus, experience on managing collaboration across global teams
Ability to function in a high volume setting, with tight deadlines and attention to details with strong focus on lean processes
Fluent English and Swedish
