Furthermore, you have a good collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and are good at building relationships both within and outside the organization. You possess a strong ability to identify needs and drive change within the organization at the group and market-level acting in a multi-cultural and matrix environment.
To be successful in this position, you have a University Degree in a relevant subject or a proven track record working with IKEA store re-design projects. You have been working within your area of expertise for at least 2-5 years and achieved a good understanding of how to handle material flow solutions within warehousing, logistics, and/or a retail environment. You have a comprehensive understanding of how service fulfilment is leading to excellent customer fulfilment and good knowledge of relevant IT systems, logistics automation solutions and tools associated with this area. You have proven successful in direct & indirect leadership in a complex environment, delivering business results and developing people. Furthermore, you are experienced in project/vendor management and know-how to successfully lead projects on the country/market/national level. Moreover, you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
Within the initiative of “Store with fulfillment capabilities”, you will lead the deployment support team. You will act as the subject matter expert and together with the members of your deployment team, create and implement a solution portfolio best suited for the individual store situation. You will also work closely together with the Service- and Store Fulfilment Operation Leaders and together transform our stores into more efficient and customer-centric fulfilment units. Moreover, you will contribute with both knowledge and expertise to multichannel development bridging the knowledge from the store with fulfilment capabilities initiative to a country-specific store project. Your role should analyze the pre-conditions met in a specific store environment and match it with the prerequisites required to use a special bundle of automated solutions.
More in detail you will be:
• Accountable to lead, coach and develop the FU deployment support team and provide support and guidance to the country Dev&MCN managers and FU Operations to secure an inspiring and motivating environment where people and talent are continuously developed.
• Responsible for supervising deployment of Fulfilment unit layout and automation solutions, through matching problem statement individual project to decided FU solution portfolio, identifying, evaluating, and scaling best practices contributing to the three roads - affordability, accessibility, and sustainability - and to Ingka financial goals.
• Responsible for constantly maintaining a project portfolio covering and containing all fulfillment unit deployment initiatives. The portfolio should clarify and express the value contribution and urgency of each project in order to enable prioritization, maximize value generation and ensure the best use of our resources.
• Responsible to stay updated on the latest decided FU solution portfolio and evaluating ongoing deployment initiatives in the IKEA expansion process for the use of best-suited solutions and secure current commitments are achieved, risks are identified, and blockers are resolved while improvements are being made.
• Responsible for verifying the plausibility of created business cases for Fulfilment unit solution deployment when extra funding is needed, securing that the submitted re-design provides effective and efficient solutions for the totality of the business end to end, and working in close cooperation with the Fulfilment unit development &deployment team to follow up and validate the ROI of the business cases.
• Accountable for the cooperation with key partners in both Group and countries especially the Centers of expertise in the expansion process, Fulfilment unit Operations function, group OCN team, the Country Deployment function as well as Digital Unit. Represent Fulfilment Unit deployment in all related decision bodies, especially PIRC.
• Responsible to facilitate feedback loop of lessons learned, improvement potential and newly arisen business needs in accordance to DNS process back to Fulfilment unit business development team based on deployed country projects.
This is a permanent role, based in Malmö, Sweden.
