Do you want to contribute to the development of essential parts of a fast-paced and collaborative environment?

We are looking for a talented Full-Stack Developer with a keen eye for details to maintaining our eCommerce website. Your main tasks will be to ensure that the last security patches are installed and that existing functionality continues to work properly as well as maintaining and implementing infrastructure changes.

You will collaborate with other team members and stakeholders and ensure the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties

As a Full-stack Developer, you are expected to work in teams alongside Front-end Developers, Back-end Developers, Graphic Designers and User Experience Designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our Magento 2 website and other core PHP based applications
• Regularly update our Magento installation and ensure that all security measures is in place
• Maintain database systems, interfaces, integrations and CI/CD pipelines.
• Developing features to enhance the user experience
• Strong ability to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Monitor performance of production environment and maintain site speed and integrity
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Participate in agile ceremonies of a scrum team

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong object-oriented programming knowledge
• Expert understanding of Magento 2 code structure, extension architecture and server optimization
• Experience in creating responsive/reactive web-design with HTML and CSS
• Experience with e-commerce websites
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver results in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Hands-on experience engineering and managing cloud solutions on AWS. Such experience includes CodeBuild, RDS, EC2, CloudFront and Kubernetes.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum project teams, designing, developing, and supporting mission-critical, high-throughput applications.
• Magento certification is definitely a plus
• At least 2 years of appropriate professional Magento 2 experience.
• At least 2 years of appropriate professional JavaScript experience with React
