Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you want to improve road safety and help Scania drivers stay on the road lawfully? Our team develops customer services that help drivers and transport-operators comply with European legislation on driving- and working-time. Our services improve road safety and ensure drivers' good working conditions. Today, we reach some 10% of all Scania vehicles in Europe and we are now taking the next step with the ambition to reach all European customers. We are now looking for a Full-Stack Developer that has a customer centric mindset and understanding of the road transport business.

 

Your tasks

You will join an agile and self-organized development team that is responsible for all elements of application-development and operations. You will also work cross-functionally within the Scania-organization sharing knowledge within your areas of expertise.

One of your main tasks will be to join the team in strangling today’s monolithic on-prem solution and replace it with a modularized solution in AWS that scales with business needs.

When it comes to how the team works creating great software – it is you in the team that decide this and also which technologies that best support you in building your software. Currently our technology focus when building new solutions is .Net Core, React, and AWS.
