Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a manufacturer of trucks, buses and engines to drive the shift towards a sustainable transport system. Digitalization and software development is of greater importance in order to accomplish this transformation. Supply Chain Networks is a department within inbound logistics with the ambition to become the leader within sustainable logistics and our mission is to globally develop, manage and optimize our logistical flows by building flows with minimal environmental impact, high quality and minimal total logistic cost.



Our team

We are a small team working close to business, this in order to fast develop software products based on business needs. We work with different technologies such as software development, business intelligence, data science and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in a high pace environment delivering solutions to different stakeholders within logistics. We offer flexibility in terms of the possibility to work both from office and from home, but believe in meeting in the office at least once a week to foster great team spirit!

We are currently looking for an independent full stack developer, that enjoys going quickly from idea to deployed solution, and with experience designing software products based on cloud environment. As a person, you are a true team player and enjoy collaborating in an agile way of working. You are unpretentious and transparent with your work and are happy to share your knowledge with your colleagues.



What you will do:


• Enjoy and actively participate in software product development end-to-end: user research discovery, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, support and user feedback.
• Continuously share your experience with the rest of the team and ensure team reach its full potential.
• Deliver testable, maintainable and high-quality code.
• Develop complete software solutions from backend to frontend, you don’t need to be an expert in all fields but knowing the full stack.



Your profile:


• 3+ years of experience in software development, designing and developing software products
• You have practical experience with cloud technologies (preferably Amazon Web Services)
• We believe you are experienced in CI/CD, Git and DevOps
• Backend: we believe you have strong coding skills preferably in Java
• Frontend: web development using modern JavaScript framework
• You are passionate about and have an ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
• You have experience in building APIs
• We think you have experience working with databases (NoSQL and/or SQL), data modelling and access techniques
