Full stack developer – Tools for Embedded SW development

Do you have an interest in vehicles? Are embedded systems something that interests you and do you have an understanding of software development? Now we are looking for our next Tools developer who will work with automation of the software developers' codes!

About the company
Our customer is a world-leading supplier of transport solutions. In 2018, they delivered 88,000 trucks, 8,500 buses and 12,800 industrial and marine engines to their customers. Research and development is concentrated in Sweden with branches in Brazil and India. The group is growing so fast and is now looking for their next software developer. You will belong to a cross-functional team of 10 people who work according to SCRUM and where everyone works for each other!

Here you can contribute by finding and crafting efficient tools for embedded systems using a modularized perspective. We work in the fields of Process, Devops & Testing.

Your Role
You will be responsible for crafting tools and create best experience for our platform users. You will be working close with system architecture, they set up guidelines based on legal demands, you create the tools and the support for the company's SW developers to follow the guidelines.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who:
•Has experience as python or object oriented scripter, perhaps you have scripted things to improve your day to day life
•Understand the need of the user from embedded system platform perspective
•A team player who sees the possibilities
•Passionate about zero steps systems
•Has a university education in any technical field
•Preferably experience in Polarion but not a must
The role is based in Södertälje office with the opportunity to work hybrid model with some days at home and some days in the office.
