Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Collaborate within the Developer Experience team to create an exceptional developer experience by building platform products that enhance performance and productivity for software engineers.
Develop and maintain core plugins for the internal developer portal using Backstage open-source software.
Design the developer experience and lifecycle of plugins for various teams contributing to the portal.
Work within an agile team, using backlog items and tasks to capture and complete work on a sprint basis.
Build, maintain, and update the internal developer portal as new tools, resources, and services are added.
Provide support to users of the portal, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
Apply your architectural mindset to ensure the portal aligns with DevOps, GitOps, and Platform Engineering principles.
Demonstrate expertise in problem-solving, debugging, and writing clean, well-documented code.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build and enhance the development portal.
Utilize your excellent communication and writing skills to contribute effectively to the team environment.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and maintain a strong understanding of web development principles.

What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Proficiency in TypeScript and React.
Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Design-oriented mindset with experience in plugin development on Backstage (preferred).
Architectural understanding of DevOps, GitOps, and Platform Engineering.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile team environment.
Familiarity with Backstage (building and maintaining) is a plus, but not required.
