Join Our Team as a Fullstack Developer at Flower Tech

️ Company Overview:
At Flower, we are leading the way in revolutionizing the energy industry by developing a cutting-edge Power Refinery that enables the transition to sustainable and renewable power sources. We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Full-stack Developer to join our dynamic team.

️ About the role
The product team has a mission to develop scalable solutions to connect energy resources to our Power Refinery platform. The solutions come in different shapes, from pure backend (API) integrations to customer-facing web portals. Everything we do is toward our vision of a society relying on renewables as its primary energy carrier.

As a fullstack developer in our team, you will have a key role in making sure the right information is exchanged between us and our partners in an efficient and appealing way. You will have a lot of freedom and responsibility in the development of our web portals, from the design of the infrastructure to visualization of data in the frontend.

You will be a part of the Product team, and in your daily work, you will work closely with your colleagues with related skills (full-stack, data engineering, IoT engineering) in order to learn, solve problems, support each other and have fun. You will report to the Head of Products.

As we are a fast-growing startup, your tasks will vary over time and you will most likely collaborate with people in other teams as well to create the best solutions!

️ The right candidate
We believe that you have a degree in Computer Science or similar, or documented experience that can be considered equivalent. You have industry experience within web development. You find it meaningful to work on Flower’s mission of accelerating the energy transition. You like to work independently and thrive in an agile environment where coming up with new ideas and initiatives are encouraged.

Important skills ("must haves"):

HTML, CSS and Javascript/Typescript
React or similar frontend framework (Vue, Svelte)
Backend technologies such as Node and TypeORM
Experience with version control (Git)

️ Some "nice-to-have" skills and experiences (for us to be a good match, we think
you check three or more of these):

Data visualization in reports/dashboards
Creating secure architecture and code
Code pipelines (Github Actions, Team City, Jenkins etc)
Testing frameworks such as Jest
AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, Amplify, Cloud Formation, Lamba)
Proficiency in Python (which is being used widely at the company)
Experience working with layered architecture
An interest in UX design
Experience working at a startup/scaleup

Fluent English knowledge as well as a working permit in Sweden is required. You should be willing to submit to a background check as the security of the electricity system is our top priority.

Location
We love to see each other in the office but understand that sometimes you work better from somewhere else. We would like you to be able to work from the office most of the time but we are flexible with remote work occasionally. Our office is located at Söder Mälarstrand 21, a couple of minutes' walk from Gamla Stan subway station in Stockholm.
