About the role
Join our expanding Engagement team as a full-stack developer focused on creating web and digital applications for our internal users. These applications enable exceptional customer support and maintenance for our products.
You'll work within the IoT Management workstream, where we develop tools for seamless device management, monitoring, and updates. This helps us address product-related issues proactively and reactively, enhancing quality and customer satisfaction.
The IoT Management workstream is crucial in optimizing the customer journey and supporting informed energy decisions. Your role is key in ensuring our devices, like heat pumps, function as intended. The team is responsible for:
Managing firmware and software updates
Enabling device health monitoring
Handling alarms
Assisting troubleshooting with telemetric data visualization
Enabling remote commands for internal users
Implementing predictive maintenance
Tracking device lifecycle states

What you will be doing
Using Kotlin to design, implement, and maintain backend services that serve the App and distribute the data in our Microservice architecture Experience in similar modern languages experience like Java, Go or NodeJs is also fine
Knowledge of AWS, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and experience working with connected devices and IoT would be a plus

Contributing to implementing App features using Flutter, including handling user accounts,providing, and maintaining integrations with Identity Providers, for both installers and end customers
Collaborating with other teams and implementing Integrations in and outside the company e.g partnerships with tariff providers and upcoming projects about the home energy solutions
Actively engaging in ongoing discussions regarding design and device lifecycles.
Writing clean, scalable code and conducting thorough testing, enhancing, and maintaining your code
Demonstrating expertise in system architecture and database design
Applying Agile methodologies and collaborating in cross-functional teams.
