What You'll Do
Design and develop informative and intuitive web applications, including:
A next generation online bank utilizing the latest technology to bring the best experience to our customers.
The public facing website for the bank. This site should wow the visitor. It will include animations and other attention grabbing elements.
A custom built back office tool that helps our customer support solve our customers problems in best possible way.
The GraphQL API layer, built with Apollo, that is communicating with the above mentioned apps.
Implementing distributed and highly available enterprise applications that scale for enterprise demands.
Adhering to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of solutions.
Ensuring high code quality by following software engineering best practices.
Working collaboratively in a cross functional team in an Agile delivery environment.
Adhering to DevOps principles and being involved in projects throughout their full software lifecycle: from development, QA, and deployment, to post-production support.

Who You Are
Excellent understanding of Java Enterprise patterns, integration patterns and enterprise engineering best practices.
Experience in writing test driven code for both front-end applications and back-end services.
Experience with multi-view, routed, single page JS applications.
Extensive experience in SQL, performance tuning of SQL, and RDBMS technologies.
Familiarity with working in a Scrum Agile delivery environment.
Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and prior experience working with Cloud IaaS or PaaS providers will be an added advantage.
Adaptable and resourceful and you are able to develop effective solutions to problems.
You understand when it’s better to go for the quick win and when it’s better to drive through a comprehensive technical solution.
Understand that development means teamwork and enjoy working with cross functional teams.
Curious and passionate about constant learning, also going outside of your usual domain.
Self-motivated and discipline to meet deadlines with speed, accuracy and professional attitude.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner and work around obstacles to ensure project success.
