Your Responsibilities

As a developer at SVTi, you will work with the design and development of our internal intelligent systems that have a major impact on how we can understand and satisfy our users in SVT Play better. You will have a broad and technical role where you will work with both front- and backend development, as well as data engineering.

Here you will have great opportunities to influence your role and constantly develop it in step with how the world around you change with new technologies and tools. This means that you need to be open for change and have an experimental and agile mindset and sometimes dare to try the untried way.

The Bigger Picture

You will be a part of The Planning Insight team which is a cross-organizational area between Development, Content Production and Data Science. This is a new team consisting of Analysts, Data Scientist, Developers and Content Specialists and much of what we do is unexplored at SVT so we are looking forward to doing a lot of experiments and prototyping.

We believe that we will have some kind of office-remote mix for post-corona. Working remotely can be the best way to get things done and working on-site is great for creative meetings and for meeting the team and colleagues which is important for many of us. Your office will be the SVT-house at Gärdet in central Stockholm.

Our Expectations

We think you have worked some years in the field and have worked with programming languages like JavaScript / TypeScript, Node, React and Next.JS. It is also appreciated if you have experience or are passionate about working with data and developing in Python and SQL.

As a person, we are happy to see that you are curious and eager to test new technologies and new ways of developing our products, working methods and collaborations. You have no problem expressing yourself in English and it is an advantage if you also can speak Swedish.
