Today we deliver to different automotive brands in the Geely family such as Geely Auto, Volvo Cars, and Lynk & Co and are based at Lindholmen in Gothenburg.

Our Sub-system Design team within Intelligent Platform is now searching for a new member. Today the team consists of 20 Sub-system Owners divided between Body, Safety, Connectivity and Infotainment area.

As Function and Sub-system Owner, you are responsible to maintain, manage, and develop assigned functions based on technology development and changed customer use-cases/behavior. Write Function Description Alternative (FDA) for each assigned function within projects. You will also design systems by creating and breaking down requirements to different levels. The job will require cooperation both within the team, but also outside towards other teams, functions, systems and components that are involved in the fulfilling of the functionality of the sub-system.

We are searching for a team member with experience from automotive industry, SystemWeaver and ISO 26262. As a person you manage tasks independently but are not afraid to ask questions. You are transparent in reporting status and you can manage cross functional contacts. You need to be fluent in English, both writing and speech. Your initial assignment will be to handle Safety Restraint System (SRS) but there are large opportunities to shift and widen your competence within the team in the future.

We will give you a fun group to work in with different nationalities and great knowledge within electrical systems situated in one of Gothenburg’s newest buildings on Lindholmen.

Typical deliveries and tasks in the role:

- Create and deliver/handshake the system technical requirements specification to involved components (SWRS input).
- Check that expected functionality is delivered for system verification according to delivery plan and report deviation to manager and team lead.
- Issue Signal Database Change request.
- S-FMEA and safety related benchmark.
- FuSa work on functional level (HARA/FSC) and on system level (TSC &TSR).
- Analyze legal and proprietary requirements.


Key attributes and qualifications:

- Experienced in Sub-system work
- Experienced in Function work
- Knowledge within passive safety is meriting
- SystemWeaver experience
- ISO 26262 experience
- Fluent in English, both writing and speech
