Come and join our Systems Functional Architecture group! You will be part of our team that is responsible for the overall electrical systems architecture in Scania’s vehicles. With your strong drive and curious and visionary mindset you will focus on our future innovations. With a holistic view on technical problems and solutions you will help shape the future at Scania.

YOU WILL

As a Function Architect you will meet future needs with a clever system design, technical leadership and scalable architecture solutions. Your contribution to a robust and manageable electrical system will enable Scania to offer competitive functionalities to its customers. We are a team of eleven today that appreciates the importance of maintaining a learning and sharing approach both within our team and towards our colleagues. You will work in areas like; sustainable transport, advanced driver support functions (ADAS), electro mobility and autonomous vehicles. Your main tasks will be to:

- keep track of current trends in the industry and participate in early product development projects to align the work between different areas.
- explore and stake out the future for our ~1000 embedded engineers, participate in technical evaluations regarding choices for future innovations.
- ensure that our innovations fit together creating the best possible total solution for our customers.
- work closely with the entire group and leverage the competence of the entire section Systems Architecture with deep knowledge of safety, hardware, security and diagnosis in our sister groups.

YOU ARE

You have a technical background and several years of experience from system architect and engineer roles. You are a technical leader with strong knowledge and experience of systems architecture and overall function. You have good knowledge in English and preferably also Swedish, or you are willing to learn Swedish. Experience in embedded system development is meritorious, as well as experience from the automotive industry. Most important is your technical interest and your passion for working with future innovations.

As a person you are curious, creative and have a strong drive. You are solution-oriented and like to have a holistic view on technical issues. You have great analytical and strategic skills. You want to influence, can drive new ideas and share your opinion. You are a highly motivated and prestige less person, and good at both listening and communicating in your daily work.
