CEVT is an innovation centre for the future cars of the Geely Group with the purpose of being at the forefront of new developments in the automotive industry. Since 2013 CEVT has grown rapidly and now keeps some 2000 people busy. China Euro Vehicle Technology AB is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.
We are currently looking for three Function Developers to join our Powertrain Engineering Controls & Software department.
Powertrain Engineering at CEVT is responsible development of new global electrified powertrains from the early concept phase to industrialization. Our organization plays an important role since these systems will continue to be the main technologies for the Geely group going forward. CEVT is an important innovation center in the Geely Group, which brings a great opportunity to contribute to innovating new technology for future powertrains to be used across brands in the Geely Group.
As Function developer, you will work in an organization using agile software development process.
We work in scrum teams, so it's important you have an understanding of agile and scrum methodology, and can work in self organized teams. The pace is high, and the work is within all development steps from design, requirement, implementation and verification.
Typical duties include designing and developing model-based hybrid transmission or e-motor/inverter control algorithms, implementing these algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink/TargetLink, software integration, testing and verifying using MIL/SIL/PIL, HIL testing concepts, in-vehicle calibration and demonstration, and production software design and release.
To be successful in this role we believe you have the following
* BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Physics or related engineering field and an interest in powertrain control engineering
* Experience in developing embedded control systems and model-based function development within powertrain are (MATLAB/Simulink and TargetLink)
Good overall knowledge of transmission or E-motor/inverter control systems such as e.g.:
Hybrid control, E-motor strategy and device control, Clutch control, Shift control, Drive strategy, Shift-by wire functions, Functional safety strategies, Transmission OBD, failsafe and reliability functions. * Experience in data acquisition tools like (ETAS INCA, CANalyzer, etc.) is a plus
* Fluent in English.
* Driving license type B is a plus
