Arbetsbeskrivning
We are expanding the team in a very intense and interesting development phase to fulfill the demands for future driver functions. There are several new projects in our portfolio where you will have the possibility to make a difference for our customers with your experience and ideas. Imagine for example developing functions evaluating the driver's eyelid position to determine drowsiness or combining several camera streams into one video depending on different vehicle states.
If you have the experience and want to take a step to the next level you will be able to do so here. Committed and curious minds with a preference for a technical career can grow together with us on the team and within Scania.
Your future job
You will be part of the Driver camera team with creative colleagues that work in close cooperation with the rest of the driver comfort areas and other groups and sections within Embedded Software and Functions. In the team, there are many colleagues with long experience, and where we help each other succeed to create an end product with top quality.
As a Function developer, you will be involved in architectural questions for the rest of the project/company and you will also help the development teams to find the right path and come up with the best solutions to improve the Driver environment. As a developer, your main tasks will be developing functions and systems for Camera applications within the comfort and driver support area.
In this role, you will work with both short-term and long-term solutions at the same time and you break down our strategies and visions into manageable challenges. Since we have a strong team spirit you have a passion for working in a collaborative environment with different stakeholders and creating functional development roadmaps.
We believe that the following applies to you:
• M.Sc degree in Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
• An interest in the Automotive industry
• Curious and eager to learn
• Good social skills and easy to build a network and connect to people
• Experience in applying hands-on leadership
It is meritorious if you are familiar with C++, Image Processing, and Image Sensors and have experience in developing camera-based functions for HMI purposes/usage, including hardware and software aspects. A holistic view of the different components in a modern HMI system (e.g. graphics, camera functions, HW & SW aspects) can come in handy and you understand the technology stack needed to deliver a modern operating experience. A good understanding of the non-functional aspects of Software Development such as maintainability, performance, and reliability is valuable.
You can communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken plus have at least basic Swedish knowledge with an intention to develop further.
If you believe that the above applies to you we are very interested in meeting you!
