Arbetsbeskrivning
The department Controls Drivline is responsible for development of control functions for driveline applications. We work with the complete development cycle from requirement to implementation in machine and drive features such as fuel efficiency and performance. Examples of our applications are gear shift strategy for power shift transmissions, driveline energy management and traction control systems. We are now in the phase where we need to strengthen our new technology development projects and we need to increase our organization with skilled engineers.
You will work as a development engineer within driveline controls with focus on functional development of control algorithms and implementation in SW. The job includes everything from requirement management to design and implementation for new functions and control algorithms in Matlab/Simulink and in C-code. You will also take part of development testing in model in the loop environment, HW in the loop test rigs and in complete machines in close cooperation with our calibration and test engineers.
The end application is heavy machines such as wheel loaders, articulated haulers, motor graders and trucks. The work is based on close cooperation with complete machine developers and is carried out in cross functional projects with representation from for example electronic system desgin and mechanical design.
The job requires a broad approach with understanding of both the mechanical design fo the drivelines, engines and machine dynamics. It also requires knowledge of the machine application and the way our customers operates the machines.
Qualifications;
- Master of Science within the areas of Automatic control, Mechatronics, SW-engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electronics or similar.
- Experience from development of driveline control systems, automotive control systems, or other mechatronic system
- Knowledge in automatic control, SW-development, model based funtion development, simulation, vehicle dynamics, mechatronics, signal processing etc
- Ability to plan, take own initiatives and work independently as well as a team member
- Good communication skills in English are a requirement. Swedish is desirable.
