Function Developer - Shift Quality

The section Propulsive Vehicle Control works close to end costumer and is responsible for development of control algorithms and calibration of the in-house developed software "Propulsive Vehicle Control" (PVC). The PVC controls the engine, transmission and hybrid system regarding propulsive attributes and is allocated in Engine Control Module (ECM) and Transmission Control Module (TCM).The section also includes the Calibration Leaders for Engine- and Propulsive controls. Currently the section includes approximately 85 employees, organised in five groups. The group "Shift Quality Controls and Calibration", today includes 15 persons. We are responsible for development of control algorithms, calibration, verification of shift schedules and shift quality for automatic transmissions.

As Function Developer - Shift Quality you will be part of the team which is responsible for our in-house software development and support ongoing and future projects with functionality for Shift Quality (automatic transmissions), meeting all requirements. To have an effective daily work you will have close contact to other function developers and calibration engineers within the group is essential. Calibration and Concept leaders and engine torque management within the section are examples of weekly interfaces, where good communication and co-operation is important.

Main responsibilities

* Function development, implementation and testing
* Evaluation and problem analysis
* Support calibration teams, both in Gothenburg and for base project expeditions
* Active in group and section efficiency work and find ways and methods to increase our future output

Required qualifications

* BS.c in Mechatronics or mechanical engineering
* Experience from software/function development
* Experience from Targetlink, Simulink, Matlab or equal
* Driver license B
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Experience from powertrain development, Control & Calibration is meritorious
* Experience from automatic transmission clutch control development, Control & Calibration is meritorious
* ISO26262 development experience is meritorious
* Scrum based development experience is an advantage
