Function Owner

As our Function Owner, you will be joining the Closures team at CEVT where we are working with hardware, functions and Electromechanical systems for Side doors, Tailgate and Hood.

In this role you will be a member of the “Electromechanics and Functions” group and will be working as function owner. You will take a leading role in the complete chain of function work from definition and realization to validation. Your responsibilities will mostly be on function definition, functional safety and secure the function maturity progress during the process all the way to product launch.

As a member of the Closures team, you will be working with many innovative ideas for new mobility solutions. Intuitive functions are a part of the daily work to create and enable new customer experience for the way we will use vehicles in the future.

This is what you will be doing most of the time:

- Collect and aligning input requirements from different stake holders
- Lead function description and realization work for your functions
- Alignment of requirements with sub systems
- Update the system safety documentation
- Secure implementation and testing of the functions


Suitable background and experiences

- Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent relevant education.
- Several years of relevant work experience
- Good knowledge in function development and realization
- Good experience in complex electrical signal systems with many interacting functions
- Experience in automotive architecture design is an advantage
- Driving license
- Possibility to travel occasionally, especially to China
