Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Who we are
The group Bus Body Systems (RBSB) consists of 10 people working with software for the body of Scania Citywide and Scania Interlink. Both for electrical and traditional combustion vehicles. In our team we do all specifications, implementation and testing of software and functions in the bus body system. Bus body system contains 3 main nodes where we are responsible for the code, MBS, DCU and TCC.

Our software controls functions for passengers and driver during a bus ride, such as doors, climate, lights, stop buttons, toilet etc. We have a close contact to the end customers through market and satisfy the customer needs with adaptation and/or new functionalities in the bus body system. We are working agile, according to SAFe, in sprints and release our software 4 times a year. Our aim is to develop and deliver customer functions in three months.

We are now reinforcing the team with a new function owner. As a function owner you have a certain amount of functions to specify, implement and test. We are doing all the function tests in SIL, HIL and vehicle. At the end of each release you will also have the opportunity to be part of the validation in vehicles, before we release our software to production. We are also participating in summer and winter tests together with body development test team. The software is coded in Matlab, Simulink (Stateflow), Python and C.

Your profile
You have a Technical university degree. You have experience of embedded systems and coding. Possibly you are familiar with Matlab, Simulink (Stateflow), Python and C. You are a team player and have good communication skills for all cross-functional collaboration needs. You communicate freely in English. You value an open work environment where ideas are welcome and discussed. You are inspired by problems and see them as good challenges.
