The section Audio & Displays is a part of the Electrics/Electronics & Chassis unit and responsible for the audio systems, tuners and antennas, and displays including the functionality closely connected to the driver. We are approximately 50 people working within the section, divided in three different groups.

Driver Information functionality are functions such as Belt reminder, Trip computer, Service reminder etc. Functions that should just work. But how do we develop these functions to adapt to the technology available in the future? Within the Driver Information group we are responsible for the development and implementation of the Driver Information functionality, the Driver Information Module (DIM), the Head Up Display (combiner-HUD and windshield-HUD) and the Center Stack Display (CSD). We have Function Owners, System Responsible, Lead Engineers, SW responsible Engineers, HW responsible Engineers and a Technical Expert in Displays within the group. As Function Realisation Responsible you will be working closely together with the Feature team leader, Function Owner, System Responsible, SW responsible, Test Engineers and Interaction designers. You will also have close contact with other parts of the company such as powertrain, legal, complete vehicle testing, fuel, wheels and tyres etc. We are therefore looking for you who have experience from system engineering and have a broad vehicle knowledge, but most of all you need to be self-driven, positive and a good team player.

Main responsibilities:

* Report and establish technical solutions in line and project organisation
* Write specifications according to Functional requirements
* Secure that specifications are ready in time, updated and released
* Updating and defining signaling and system solutions
* Support fault tracing and/or troubleshooting activities

Required qualifications

* BSc within electronics, physics, mechatronics or equivalent
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Driver´s license B
* Experience from system engineering is meritorious
* Knowledge of ISO26262 and Autosar is meritorious
* Broad vehicle knowledge is meritorious
* Other language skills is meritorious
* Experience from Volvo Cars and Volvo Cars tools such as Elektra is meritorious
* Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is meritorious
* Good practical and theoretical knowledge in Volvo Product Development System (VPDS) is meritorious
