We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Function and System Design Engineer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.




Key Responsibilities:
We need an engineer to assist us in systemizing the AD Function design.


You will use your experience and expertise to assist in the development, systemization, and integration of the AD Function, allowing us to launch a highly appealing and secure AD experience for customers. You will work with a large interface to other teams that must contribute to the development of AD functions.


You will be a member of one of three teams that are jointly responsible for the development of the customer AD function. Your coworkers are skilled in function design, systemization, function realisation and integration, requirements management and decomposition, and function Verification and Validation (V&V) in both virtual and physical test environments.


We want team members to contribute and learn by working on what is prioritised for/by the team. As a result, we prefer to engage people who have relevant experience, demonstrated competencies and skills, and are willing to contribute and learn in other tasks that the team must complete.


Collaboration with colleagues from various VCC teams, as well as our AD SW supplier Zenseact, will define your workday. We all have the same goals for AD and ADAS functions.


We are attempting to adopt agile working principles in order to move quickly and learn quickly, as well as to do continuous planning and to demonstrate product maturity step by step in order to share learnings and engage support.




Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
We believe you have experience and competence in the following areas:
ADAS function systemization, realisation, and integration
Requirement development and decomposing of requirements on different abstraction layers
Systemization of safety critical functions and are thus knowledgeable in how to apply the standards ISO26262 and SOTIF
Leading tasks and motivating colleagues
A Swedish driver's licence



Meritorious is also if you have experience with:
Function integration testing in HIL and SIL environments
Autonomous function work experience
Scrum or Kanban-based teamwork
