Functional Developer at Electromobility

About the Role: As a Functional Developer within Electromobility at Volvo AB, you will be responsible for developing and implementing functional solutions for our electric vehicle systems. You will work closely with our engineering teams to design and test software systems that enable the functionality of our electric vehicles.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement functional software solutions for electric vehicle systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets system requirements
Design and test software systems for electric vehicle functionality
Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure deliverables meet expectations
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electric vehicle technology

Requirements:
Masters degree in, Electrical Engineering, mechatronic or related field
At least 2 years of experience in software functional development, preferably in the automotive or electromobility industry
Comfortable working with Similink and Canalyser
Programming skills in one or more programming languages such as C/C++ or Python is a plus
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
