About the team and role
We at Electric Propulsion System Design are a global team of skilled engineers in the field of Electrical System Design and Functional Safety. We work on cutting-edge electromobility projects and believe that great innovations come through cooperation and are always there to give a helping hand when needed.
Here, you will work with Functional Safety, and requirements on our electric driveline, driving the safety aspects and supporting your colleagues as an expert. By playing such an important role in the company’s safety culture and electromobility development, you will be a key contributor to achieving the company targets.
About you
We are now looking for an additional Functional Safety Engineer, that can implement the safety standards into our organization. As Cybersecurity is a vital part of the safety aspects of a vehicle system and software, it will be a bonus if you have competencies in the area as well.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
Min. six years experienced in working as a Functional Safety Engineer, with item definition, hazard analysis and development of safety concepts.
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional team members without direct authority.
Good knowledge of the ISO26262 standard.
Ability to break down our safety related top level requirements to our electronics, hardware and software design.
Work with suppliers to ensure that their deliverables fulfil the correct level of safety requirements.
M.Sc. in Electrical engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Familiar with application software and automotive communications protocols.
Knowledge in Cybersecurity, ISO/SAE 2143, is meritorious.
