Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Functional Safety Engineer Lead to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Participate in strategic planning for the group, including partner/supplier selection and reviewing Functional Safety Statement of Work (FuS-QDPR).
Contribute to initial concept design and various stages of development, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, time plan, and quality standards.
Collaborate with electrical and mechatronics engineering teams, customers, and technical partners to ensure the successful implementation of functional safety concepts.
Dive into the details of safety design, reviewing requirements, and providing support for Functional Safety Concept (FSC) and Technical Safety Concept (TSC) activities at system, software, and hardware levels, ensuring bidirectional traceability.
Plan and oversee safety test activities (Safety plan) based on the specific scope of each vehicle project.
Drive the development of functional and technical safety concepts across various levels, including function, system, subsystem, software, and hardware.
Lead functional safety engineering activities for product development teams and develop technical work products. Co-develop impact analyses and recommend safety criteria for system design and hazard control.
Develop technical work products specific to functional safety requirements, such as item definition, criticality analyses, safety analyses, and test coverage analysis.
Support the development of verification and validation strategies within subsystems, software, and hardware, including hazard and risk assessment (HARA), FTAs, DFMEAs, functional safety concept & technical safety concept.
Incorporate Functional Safety standards and industry best practices into corporate processes in accordance with ISO 26262.
Ensure the accurate preparation, storage, and revision management of technical specifications and work products.
Ensure that safety plan activities align with program timing.
Collaborate with suppliers and customers on safety-related topics.

What You Bring:
M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electrical, Applied Physics, or Mechatronic Engineering.
Knowledge of functional safety activities and deliveries in accordance with ISO 26262.
Demonstrate documented experience in safety analyses at both hardware and software levels, including HW/SW FMEA & FTA, performing DFA, and ensuring interference-free operations.
Proficiency in specifying the hardware-software interface (HSI).
Understanding of software/hardware architecture.
Ability to work with hardware schematics, BOM lists, and PMHF Metrics Calculation (ASIL C/D).
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Possess hands-on experience with technical safety concepts and ASIL requirement specifications.
Exhibit an agile mindset, combined with excellent interpersonal skills, and the capability to inspire, develop, and motivate individuals and teams.
