What you'll do?
We are looking for you who would like to contribute in developing functional safety for Veoneer’s products in our System Platform development.

You should be comfortable working in teams with a both supporting and contributing role to develop safety for a platform taking perception, decision & control and manipulation of the vehicle into consideration.

Your work will be to develop the safety concepts for various ADAS features e.g. AEB, LKA and ACC. This implicates to derive top safety requirements and further break those down to system, HW and SW safety requirements. Always taking implementation, verification & validation as well as the safety argumentation into consideration.

As our Functional Safety manager, you will lead the safety work in our development projects and thus cooperate with most of the competencies in our project organization. You will maintain the safety plan and monitor progress of the safety activities against the safety plan.

Additionally, you will be responsible to plan and monitor the execution of all safety activities. This implies safety analyses and taking part in the technical evaluations of concepts and solutions. You will support our project managers as well as technical managers during implementation of safety measures.

As the Functional Safety manager, you will also be responsible for confirmation measures, secure that our documentation is of high quality and that necessary activities has been carried out. You will be our customer interface concerning safety. One part of the role is also to initialize and perform trainings in relevant safety fields.

As a person you are well organized, result oriented, convincing and you enjoy working in teams. You have good communication skills and have the ability to build good and constructive relations within the team and with our customer. With your communication skills we also presume that initialing and conducting trainings in relevant safety fields in English or Swedish is not a big deal to you.

Level (diploma) required: Post-secondary or Master degree in Electronics, Systems, Computer science or equivalent.

Other required skills: Documented experience within ISO26262

- Experience from development standards within the automotive industry is also seen as highly merited
