Functional System Design Radio - Employment or Subcontractor

As a consultant at SwedQ you will be helping our clients to design and develop our clients new Radio System and be part of the 5G journy.

You will be involved from early pre-study phase thourgh definitaion and development process of new products.

Becoming the link between HW design including ASIC specifications and SW design.

You will be interacting with many disciplines, people and functions within our clients organization. You are expected to investigate and define functionality through independent works as well as in active collaboration with developer of different disciplines within HW as well as SW.

Responsibilites

- Functional systemization of radio products (Including radio architecture, functional descriptions, design specifications, requirements specifications...)

Requirements

- Master Degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Physics or equivalent education.
- Min 5 years of relevant work experience within product development, embedded SW development and/or embedded system design.
- Experience from working with requirements and an understanding of how to create product value attributes from low level functions.
- Beneficial, but not required, is experience in

- DSP

- Matlab, algorithm development
- Radio- and telecommunications development
- Radio base band
- Rational DOORS Next Generation
- UML




The assignments at SwedQ variouse but there is one common dominator - You will always be challanged and improve your skills with us. Besides the assignment we belive in creating an environment of sharing knowledge and that is why we have an internal Slack channels and coaching strcuture in the company. If you are experienced enough you will take on coaching responsibilites.

The more experience you have the more exposure of ambassador activities related task you are going to have (Courses, Seminars and conferanses). The reason is very simple - SwedQ needs more market presence and as a skilled engineer/developer you have also to build your brand and further it more.

The above requirements can be on different levels. If you have not worked everything, it is OK, we prefer somebody with deep understanding of the coding principles, the technologies is something that you can learn over time.
