We are now looking for a full-time Fundraising Manager to manage our fundraising operations in Sweden and strategically support our regional fundraising activities.

About the role:
This full-time position based in Stockholm is responsible for managing the fundraising department of Greenpeace in Sweden, and for working closely with colleagues across Nordic to investigate, test and evaluate new fundraising initiatives. The role’s responsibilities include strategic planning, budget preparation and management, leading a team of professional and experienced fundraisers to achieve income and expenditure targets, and creating a diverse and secure fundraising base.
 
Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Lead, motivate and manage a team of professional Fundraising staff, providing strategic advice, strategic direction, problem solving and guidance across all the fundraising programs in place in Sweden, including Direct Dialogue, Digital, Telefundraising, Donor Care and Donor Relationships and Marketing.
* Take the lead on the ongoing long term development and implementation of the strategic fundraising plan to maximize fundraising opportunities in the Swedish market.
* Lead the development of 3 year and annual income and expenditure budgets.
* Provide monthly, quarterly, annual and long term budget reporting, including narratives and conclusions.
* Drive the development of innovative techniques to attract new donors and to develop deepening and more relevant relationships with existing donors.
* Implement a data analysis strategy that will inform all fundraising activities.
 
About you:
* At least 4 years experience in Fundraising leadership
* Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or other associated field and /or equivalent work experience
* Significant experience in managing high volume fundraising programs (both acquisition and retention)
* Knowledge of Data Analysis and Segmentation
* Ability to support and guide staff, inspire team spirit and resolve conflicts, communicate effectively by demonstrating strong listening skills, and negotiation skills
* Capacity to manage multiple projects, work to a timeline, work with sensitive information, work with minimal supervision, deal with stressful situations and meet deadlines
* Decision making skills to ensure the efficient delivery and the high quality of work in the department within a framework of operational, professional or creative guidelines, and the capacity for setting up relevant benchmarks
* Committed to furthering Greenpeace’s campaign goals as well as the organizational development of Greenpeace Nordic
* Fluent in Swedish, Excellent English, Other Nordic languages an advantage.
