Futuraskolan International-Grade 6/7 Math/Sci

Arbetsbeskrivning

Futuraskolan is a privately owned school organisation with pre-schools and schools in the Stockholm area. Today we have 12 pre-schools and 7 schools, over 350 employees and around 2300 children and students in Futuraskolan.

Futuraskolan has a strong and present set of values. The values that best describe our culture are Progressiveness, Energy and Respect. And we also make a promise: Every child is visible, challenged, and successful.

We need educated teachers with a strong drive that want to be a part of Futuraskolan and help develop our schools. You should have a passion for children's learning and see our international and natural science approach as stimulating and exciting.

We are currently seeking a certified grade 6/7 Math/Science teacher for our international school located in Östermalm. Applicants should be certified teachers with an international mind set, native English speakers (or have a strong command of the English language).

Futuraskolan International School of Stockholm uses the Primary Years Programme curriculum known as the IPC for grades 1-5. The IPC is an international curriculum providing a cross-curricular, thematic, rigorous teaching structure designed to engage children of all abilities in today's world. This is a learning focused curriculum designed to help children learn to enjoy what they learn and is assessment and evaluation focused. The children have traditional subjects within the curriculum. The learning is rigorous and meant to be transportable around the world.
