DESCRIPTION: Grade 1 - 9 Substitute Teacher
REPORTS TO: Principal, Vice Principal, and Substitute Coordinator
Starting: Immediately (Part-time, Temporary, Hourly salary)
We are looking for enthusiastic, positive and cooperative external temporary workers available to work, on a temporary, on-call basis, as both teachers, leisure teachers and assistants from Grades 1 - 9. As a substitute, you need to be ready to come in at short notice, interested in teaching many subjects and eager to socialise with different year groups. We are looking for candidates who:
Are able to follow and implement lesson plans established by the class teacher.
Have previous experience and/or is qualified to work with children.
Have fluency in English (proficiency in Arabic, Swedish or another foreign language is a plus)
Are self-confident, enthusiastic and can take own initiative.
Have International qualifications (a current teaching license/registration or a Bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification is considered a plus)
Have a current police background check



You would work as part of our team to realize the Futuraskolan vision. We strive for clear frameworks in the classroom, clear leadership in lessons and direct communication between staff and students.
The focus is on learning, the study environment and the school's routines/rules that are followed by both learners and teachers.


A teaching qualification is necessary. Experience teaching students from diverse cultures is encouraged.
