 Your profile
* You have a Master’s degree within energy and mechanical engineering.
* You are interested in interacting with people in many different constellations and you are prepared to dig into many kinds of topics – technical but also commercial, market as well as process related.
* You have an ability to create and perform presentations, all adapted to the target group.
* You have an analytical mindset and you are able to take in complex information from technology, market, business, product and other experts and transform into a holistic view and draw conclusions.

Even though this role doesn’t include responsibility for personnel, it requires leadership skills in driving progress and leading/supporting teams. Inspire and motivate people in the work related to progressing technology maturity towards a product/solution implementation.

Your responsibilitites
* In this role, you will be working in a staff function team together with other specialists, experts and product owners from the development departments.
* The role also includes extensive interaction with strategy departments and central functions on different levels within Siemens Energy.
* You will be responsible to explore different technology opportunities and facilitate a correct assessment. This includes summarizing versatile information such as technology readiness level, time and cost for development as well as creating technology and business models as required.
* It also includes intellectual property protection strategies as well as gathering market insights in order to assess the viability of technology concepts.
* A natural part is also the process perspective where improvements in the way of working such as standardizing technology evaluations will be captured. This also includes relevant improvements in the technology development process.
