Future leader in the Scania Digital Office

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We hope that you are a great team leader and transformation leader who is up for your next challenge! Maybe you are looking for an opportunity to build and develop an awesome team or maybe you dream of accelerating the capability building needed for a company to transform and succeed, or both? If this is you, please continue to read and we will do our best not to waste your time.

As you probably understand, digitalization is a key part of the development of the future transport system as well as a key ingredient of developing the here-and-now; existing customers, employees, and processes. Scania’s success relies on developing our existing business and at the same time building the new - and in both those dimensions, digital is the key enabler.

About our job - Why is the development of digital business capabilities so important?

Taking a leading position in digital - creating business leverage from digital and tech - is much easier said than done. When comparing the industry leaders with the followers,  the main difference that is observed is digital maturity, where more mature organizations from a capability point of view reach further in terms of results. We need you to take our systematic approach and tools further for us to understand what capabilities we need, where the gaps are, and continue to build the understanding of what key areas to address. In this, the development of methods for how to strengthen the capabilities needed is also key. Examples of what we have been driving so far is e.g. establishing Centers of Excellence, setting up citizen training, driving global hacks as well as creating learning paths. Additional key tasks also include:

• Leading, building and developing the group of Digital Capability Development professionals (e.g.  Senior service designer, research analyst, Advanced analytics specialist, BI Visualization Specialist)
• Taking a driving or supporting role in key networks and communities e.g. Service Design and/or our Digital Officer Network also in collaboration with related larger change initiatives
• Maintain lasting excellent relationships with key Stakeholders (middle/executive managers) as well as co-workers

Are we a match?

To thrive with us, we think you are a curious and solution-oriented team player. You have a passion for digital and tech with the ability to inspire and lead the way in the context you are in. You also need to be able to plan your deliveries and team development.

We also see that you have:

• 8+ years of experience working with digital business transformation in relevant business segments including capability-related questions
• Experience as a manager with a natural way of bringing out the best in teams and individuals
• Experience in leading change on an executive level from either senior line positions, or in management consulting
• Understanding of the digital / information technology/customer experience landscape and have passion for leveraging this for increased business performance

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
