Future Talent Program is a Trainee Program within Tetra Pak. We offer a permanent position from start in September 2022 at our site in Lund. You will onboard an individual designed development program for 18 months connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization. During the program you will participate in trainings and job rotations throughout various parts of Tetra Pak to explore your potential and grow as a person. As a Trainee here with us, you will get to know our entire business and collaborate with colleagues all over the world. And this is just the beginning of your Tetra Pak career!

What you will do
In the role as Automation Engineer trainee, you will have the opportunity to work with early technology development, product development as well as product life cycle activities. You will research and design automation solutions that are needed to monitor and control Tetra Pak filling machines and distribution equipment.
You will calculate, simulate, analyze, and prove design before manufacture and testing to secure quality and cost efficiency. Work will be in teams that consists of people with different competence areas. Collaboration with colleagues and customers from different cultural backgrounds will be a part of your daily job.

You have (or will have) a completed master’s degree in Computer Engineering/Automation or an equivalent (finished between 2021-2022)
You are fluent in English, written and spoken
Basic skills in electronics, mechanics and pneumatics are meritorious
Previous international studies/experience are considered meritorious
Work life experience while studying is also meritorious



You believe that you have some knowledge in some of the following:
Programming (PLC programming IEC 61131-3 and Object oriented languages like C, C++ and Python)
Network infrastructure (Including network in embedded system)
Data Base Technology
Distributed applications (Internet of Things)
Mathematical modelling tools like MATLAB and Simulink
Data analysis and Mechatronic knowledge is a merit
