Future Talent Program is a Trainee Program within Tetra Pak. We offer a permanent position from start in September 2022 at our site in Lund. You will onboard an individual designed development program for 2 years connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization. During the program you will take part of trainings and job rotations throughout various parts of Tetra Pak to explore your potential and grow as a person.

What you will do
As our Development Engineer within Packaging Material, you will work with development of new innovative packaging material solutions to meet our customer needs and our sustainability commitment. Joining D&T Materials & Package organization you will play an important role when being part of developing the future sustainable and recyclable packaging materials.
In this technical role, you will work in a cross-functional scrum team where you will turn science into practice and drive the development of material solutions from idea to market release.
A part of the daily job is to design and evaluate the performance and functionality of the material that is used in the package, build knowledge, and to participate in problem solving together with colleagues and stakeholders. Furthermore, you will coordinate verification and validation activities and work closely with labs, factories and specialist globally. You will work in the test plant as well as working at your desk analyzing data and write reports.
This is a role, where you can make an impact and see your own package from start to shelf!
Who you are
You have a Master of Science (graduated between 2021-2022), within material science or equivalent. You have an interest in packaging material and the packaging industry and dedicated to developing tomorrow’s sustainable material solutions. We appreciate applicants with special knowledge (experience or studies) within paperboard or polymers. Previous experience of leading or coordination is considered as a merit.
To present your ideas, thoughts and knowledge and suggest improvement is something that you enjoy, and you are open to learn new things. You work in an analytical and thorough way as well as you are creative and patient. You are good at taking initiatives and work collaboratively with others to meet shared goals. You are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing.
