Future Talent Program is a Trainee Program within Tetra Pak. We offer a permanent position from start in September 2022 at our site in Lund. You will onboard an individual designed development program for 18 months connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization. During the program you will participate in trainings and job rotations throughout various parts of Tetra Pak to explore your potential and grow as a person.

We are looking for a Development Engineer, who will grow the virtual capabilities within structural mechanics!
What you will do
You will drive the work of evaluating and optimizing concepts and lead the way to predict the sealing quality with virtual tools. In all work, robust design principles are important corner stones and strongly embedded in our work.
As Development Engineer you will work with development and refinement of virtual models and rigs to describe the sealing process and optimize the process, system, product interaction and components to achieve the optimal sealings, protecting what’s good. The environment may be knowledge-building activities, product developments and issue resolutions. This role contains collaborations with colleagues in Sweden as well as abroad.
You will also:
Translate the physical needs into virtual solutions
Closely collaborate with both virtual community and physical
Develop virtual capabilities, mainly within thermal and structural mechanics tools

Sustainability is high on our everyday agenda! As a key competence area within Tetra Pak the responsibility to develop the sealing technologies of the future lies in our hands. We work in close collaboration across several functions and with partners to develop sustainable packaging material, machine components, process settings as well as test methods to screen and verify sealing quality performance. Who you are
We believe you have a Master of Science degree holder in Mechanics or equivalent. You work in an analytical and thorough way and have good presentation skills. Collaboration and taking initiatives come naturally to you, as well as proposing new solutions and actions. Some former work experience is considered a merit. You are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing.
