The Role - Game Artist

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small game team here at MAG where you will create a range of artwork for our live and new casual mobile games. You’ll be creating 2D and 3D work including; characters, icons, props and environments.

You will work in collaboration with other artists, designers and developers in your team to help build awesome games! Your creative art style will contribute to bringing joy to our players all around the world!

This role requires you to be versatile and have a great eye for detail for what looks and feels good and of course, a passion for making games.

Responsibilities

- To produce quality artwork for casual, mobile, free-to-play games

- Create characters, environments, props and other art assets in 2D and 3D

- Adapt to our art style in order to create engaging content

- Designing for the user at all times

- Develop and maintain the overall visual style of the game

- Closely collaborate with your teammate

Skills

- Experienced in creating high quality 2D game assets - Characters, Environments, Props & UI

- Experienced in creating high quality 3D game assets - Characters, Environments, Props & UI

- Solid sense of composition, form, lighting and color

- Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite

- An understanding of Unity engine or similar

- A strong portfolio showing skills and flexibility across art styles

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

- Self-driven and motivated to succeed

- Fluent in English

Nice to have

- 2D Animation experience

- Experience of working on f2p production for casual gaming

- Experience of outsourcing artwork
