Overview
As a Game Community manager at Embark you will be part of a passionate game team including programmers, artists and designers, driving initiatives to enhance game awareness and thoughtfully build and maintain an engaged and active player community. You will be the key link between our players and the development team collaborating closely to create the best possible player experience.
Example of responsibilities
- Set and implement Social media and Community strategies
- Organize and manage events both on- and offline to boost game awareness
- Build relationships with players and potential players
- Act as a communication bridge between the development team and the community
- Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews
- Coordinate with Product, Marketing and Communications teams
- Stay up-to-date with gaming market and technology trends
Furthermore, it’s important that you have a good understanding of different types of community function setups, the pros and cons of these and understand the needs of various tools necessary for the team. You will be dedicated to working with one of our products, but it’s important that you have the ability to help with identifying needs for growth and scaling of the function for our entire product portfolio.
We would love if you have
- Proven work experience as a Community Manager or similar role
- Experience in planning and leading community initiatives
- Ability to set and track relevant community data metrics
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- A creative and curious mind
- BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
- A strong passion for games and an engaged player!
