We are looking for a Game Data Analyst to make sure we better understand how our players interact with and enjoy our games. You will work cross-disciplinary with several teams - from the development to marketing and finance - to identify and confirm how our games are played and what the right decisions are to improve that experience. You are expected to work from large data sets, be able to focus in on the important bits, and to present this data in an understandable way. We are a data driven bunch of people as we think it helps make better games - we hope you’re the one to guide forward!
Who you are:
- Hands-on experience with database technologies
- Attention to detail, naturally curious and hungry to learn new things
- Proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights
- Experience working with and creating data architectures
- Familiarity with Data Warehouse technologies
- Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and teams
- Experience querying/joining databases and using statistical computer languages as Python and SQL
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Tableau is a plus
- Passionate about data and contributing to the growth of a data driven organization
- Knowledge of database structures
- Proven organizational and analytical abilities
- Experienced problem solver
- Good written and excellent verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Partner with different stakeholders to develop reports and address data needs to provide reporting solutions
- Work with colleagues to synthesize and translate instructional and business data needs into creative visualizations and tools
- Assist in development, maintenance and management of advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions primarily using Tableau
- Help refine best practices used in implementations using Tableau server
- Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, by accessing multiple sources, specifically data residing in source systems
