Game Producer

Box Dragon is a new PC game development studio founded by game dev veterans. We’re located in Gothenburg and backed by Coffee Stain. Each member of the team comes from a different background and brings something unique to the table. We each have a passion for sharing stories and building something together. We make games around the idea of novel fun for our players; we craft emergent experiences in stylized worlds supported by system-driven gameplay. As the Producer at Box Dragon, you are someone who loves to empower your teammates and has rich experience in game development pipelines. You help define and follow up on tasks to align with product and studio goals. Your ideas about efficient communication are tailored to the team you are a part of.
We want you to proactively nurture a creative environment in which your team can do their best work. We are a diverse and international studio, so working together and bringing in several perspectives is a top priority. Along with development, you are responsible for coordinating studio needs with stakeholders as well as working closely with our external remote partners.
This is a permanent full-time in-studio position based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Responsibilities
Understanding and communicating project milestones, task deadlines, and stakeholder feedback to team members across the studio
Be one with the team – work with diverse members of the team to help untangle complex challenges, identify dependencies, develop schedules, and keep everyone on track
Anticipating, identifying, and proposing solutions for project risks and issues
Building successful relationships with external organizations
Helping ease various business or administrative needs

Requirements
Understanding of game development practices, especially in a small team
Experience working in a project-planning role (such as Producer, Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar position)
Excellent verbal and written skills in English, our company language
