Game Server Developer till Thunderkick

Tech-savvy programmer who love games? Then Thunderkick is your future romance!

As our new Game Server Developer, you will sweat for creating kick-ass server-side game logic. Your day-to-day work can be anything from implementing game servers using java, improving our in-house frameworks or helping with game simulation and statistics.

At Thunderkick you will be a part of the whole development process, from concept to release party. You will be free from hierarchies, prestige and a department with only people doing the exact same thing as you. Our games are developed in small teams and your input and feedback are going to be important. As newly graduated- there is really no other place where you have the chance to grow as fast, where you get personal responsibility, and the potential to influence from day one.

What you will be doing:

- Design, implement and maintenance of Game Server Logic, Game Simulation, and Game Server Framework
- Setup, release and deploy of game server and related artifacts
- Game certification and documentation
- “Scrum inspired” team-based game development
- Brainstorming and evaluation of new game concepts
- Game design and implementation
- Lots and lots of table tennis (although not mandatory)


Who you are:

- Graduated from a data science program
- Prestigeless and nice
- Experience of working with Java
- Understand both Swedish and English
- Experience of Git, Gradle, Linux, SQL, Tomcat or similar is a plus
