Job Description
The Massive Game Intelligence Department is a multi-disciplinary team of experts with a mission to support the creation of the best game experiences at the center of our design and development process
Combining cutting-edge qualitative and quantitative research with a wide variety of methodologies and data sources, our in-depth knowledge of player behavior allows our production teams - with whom we work hand-in-hand - to make the right decisions.
As a Gameslab Moderator, you will act as the conductor in all executive research functions. You will be the point of contact to our playtest participants but also will work closely with other researchers and development team to ensure that game play experience in the lab is authentic and relevant to the research questions.
With the supervision of our Gameslab Manager, you will recruit, screen, and schedule participants for user research studies, as well as test setup and required hardware and software preparation.
As a Moderator at Massive, you will be the point of contact to our playtest participants but also will work closely with other researchers and development team to ensure that game play experience in the lab is authentic and relevant to the research questions.
As a part of the Game Intelligence team, you will collaborate with team members to provide actionable data points with high quality of routine deliverables and key benchmarks.

What you'll do
Handling all activities, services and requirements for tests including recruitment and hospitality for participants of our weekly studies;
Closely communicating with researchers, Lab manager and keep records of needs, planned activities and meetings.
Helping to implement a strategy to increase participation in our player database.
Communicating with members of our player database as well as following-up on their requests/questions coming from our email address and our social networks.
Assisting in installing and maintaining testing of hardware and software, and providing relevant practical training for other team members.
Actively participating in multidisciplinary collaborations and knowledge sharing within the UR team through meetings, one-on-ones and any other relevant means.
Keeping a clearly organized Lab documentation and schedule of all processes and data collected, within the centralized Game Intelligence documentation repository.
Qualifications
What you'll bring
You're someone who has been longing to work in the games industry and in our GamesLab. You're interested in user research and psychology. You are great with communication, are highly organized, and appreciate efficiency. Besides the above, we're looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:
Good knowledge of video games (consoles, PC, mobile)
Interest or background in psychology, human computer interaction or other relevant fields
Competency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc)
Background in user research or behavior interaction is a plus
