Job Summary
We offer a unique opportunity to be part of setting up a new way of looking into gaming-related data. In this role, you can be hands-on in finding valuable insights from a variety of player behavioral and game mathematical datasets, but also have input in how we set up the team processes and toolsets.
Your profile
Perhaps you’re a math genius with a statistics degree and can write perfect Python scripts or maybe you have fantastic data visualization skills, but even more important is to have the desire to make sense of raw data and find actionable insights.
You ideally enjoy various data-related investigations and challenges ie. deep-diving into raw numbers and evaluating findings by mathematical relevance. You also find it exciting to discover patterns and present summaries to the team.
Requirements
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
Excellent capability of summarizing and presenting data investigation results
Ability to explain mathematical findings and their relevance to business stakeholders
Experience with SQL and Python (or Java)
Having experience in data modeling (not only theoretical knowledge about modeling techniques)
Good understanding of database management and data structures
Good neck for finding patterns and trends in datasets

It comes as a bonus if you have experience in the iGaming industry or BI. Also, familiarity with R, SciPy, and/or similar tools is very helpful.

Life at Relax
This role is placed in Malmö, Sweden. The Relax game studio in Malmö is perfectly located on Lilla Torg, right in the middle of the beautiful old parts of the city. We span across 2 floors with a terrace and plenty of space to “relax”. A real home from home. The studio is a five-minute walk from the central station and all types of shopping and restaurants can be found right outside our doorstep.
