Garment Technician

On a daily basis you will collaborate with different parts of our business, especially our Purchasing and Design department.

Your Future

- Liaising with buyers and designers, and adapting designs to suit production methods
- You will work with measuring, assessing and fitting samples prior to fit sessions
- Work with sizing pre-production garments
- Undertaking quality evaluations of materials and checking the quality of the final product
- Responding to product queries, including returns, from wholesalers and customers
- Be responsible for making sure garments can be produced within budget.
- Overseeing fabric testing and fittings of first samples
- Having overall responsibility for the development of garments from order through production ensuring they perform to the specifications and quality provided


Your Past & Your Skills

- Education in fashion/textile design or pattern making
- If you have been working in a similar role or have been doing an internship during your education, it's a big plus
- Experience from grading of measurement lists and an understanding understanding of manufacturing, textiles and garment construction, it is a plus if you have experience of pattern making
- Experience in applied technical knowledge of fabrics and threads, and ability to pass on technical knowledge clearly in layman’s term
- Exceptional eye for technical details to ensure the correct documentation is used and followed
- Computer- and excel skills, it is also a plus if you have experience from Illustrator
- Flexible approach to be able to adjust to constantly changing needs of the business and enjoy taking ownership
- Highly organized and good prioritization skills
- Confident and clear communication skills to work productively alongside other product teams and external suppliers
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
