Gear Designer to Leax

We are looking for you who are interested working in an international and dynamic environment. To succeed as Gear Designer at LEAX, it is necessary that you can combine commitment and flexibility as the requirements and conditions can change rapidly. Communication and collaboration internally as well as externally are very important.

Main responsibilities

Your main task will be to support LEAX with gear design. The tasks include:
Development of gears.
Develop the understanding of gear microgeometry and gear train optimization for durability and NVH.
Contribute with gear system design and development in projects.
Gear system testing.
Develop gear tools.
Represent LEAX in Public collaborative projects related to gears and transmissions (eg FFI, Vinova, PMH).
Gear simulation for production, design, and testing.  
Coordination and support gear training activities for LEAX employees.
Support in marketing and sales of gear components and systems.


 

Other tasks

Research in new machining technologies related to gear production. Follow and investigate cutting edge technologies. 
Develop methods for gear inspection and quality control.


 

Profile and Experience

Knowledge and experience in design and/or gear design is a requirement.
Knowledge and experience in Calculation are meritorious
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Master program or PhD degree are meritorious.
Material science experience are meritorious.
Production and Machining experience are meritorious.
