Arbetsbeskrivning
It is not every day that someone launches a new mobility brand, but that isn’t what is unusual about us. Lynk & Co is crafting the future of car ownership: membership-based mobility, the automotive equivalent of Netflix. We are a new global and sharable mobility brand focusing on the needs of the connected generation. We challenge the conventional car industry of today.
Our fast-growing team based in Gothenburg, Amsterdam, and Hangzhou, are reshaping mobility as we know it.
We are currently expanding to provide the capability for our global market entry and your contribution may be key to our success. If you share the passion for creating amazing customer experience, have an open mindset, thrive on innovative ways of working and want to be part of a global, diverse, and agile team, you sound like you might be our next teammate.
Gear Product Manager
Lynk & Co is launching in Europe with a physical store in Amsterdam, a tour of pop-up stores as well as an online store. We’re not another car company, and this won’t be another car showroom. Gear will be a staple of the Lynk & Co experience, so what exactly do we mean? In short: it’s everything we sell that isn’t cars or services.
We’re talking much more than merch—there will be no novelty mugs or badly branded tee-shirts here. We want to give our members a unique retail experience of high-quality items, whether that’s fashion, furniture, books, or something we haven’t thought of yet. Our goal is to curate a collection of products from local and international creatives for our members. Our Gear Product Manager will be key in making this happen.
This position can be based in either Gothenburg or Amsterdam (depending on where we find the right person) but will require some travel, mainly within Europe. We have one posting for each location open for this position, make sure you apply for the location that would work best for you.
The role sits within our Commercial Operations department and will report to the Co:lab Director.
As Gear Product Manager, you will:
· Establish and maintain our Gear collection, including Lynk & Co’s lifestyle products and our collaborations with local and international partners
· Handle a pan-European product portfolio of accessories, fashion, furniture, music, art, books, and micro-mobility solutions
· Support our partners and establish our product range from product development to sales readiness, including:
o Partner due diligence and quality assurance
o Secure supply chain setup and logistical requirements (e.g. distribution, storage and stock management, and aftersales)
o Secure requirements for the different products and collaborations towards both store and e-commerce
o Align on product presentation and assets required both online and offline
o Manage the complete business case
o Ensure legal requirements are met for sourcing, sales, and after sales/returns
Basically, your objective is to manage our strategic Gear portfolio and secure sales readiness in all aspects. It’s a big job, but of course, you won’t be alone. This is a truly cross-functional role and you will work closely with our teams in Marketing, Digital, Finance, Logistics, Purchasing, and Legal to make it happen.
Who are you?
· You have a B.Sc. and maybe it’s within business administration. The specifics are less important than being able to do the work. If you don’t have the right credentials, convince us that you’re the right one anyway
· You have 3-5 years of retail experience in product or license management of a lifestyle brand (preferably within fashion)
· You’re fluent in English. Additional European languages such as Dutch or German are a plus
· You’re multi-talented (see below) but you’re also willing to learn on the go
We would love it if you are:
· Engaging and inspiring. You know how to sell yourself and our brand
· Organized and good at structuring your work, even when things get busy. We move fast and with great excitement comes minor chaos...
· Sensitive to cultural differences and enjoy working in an international atmosphere
· Able to juggle several projects and tasks of varying degrees of complexity using your strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Able to manage a network of collaboration partners as well as internal stakeholders. “Collaborate or die” is your motto
We are a start-up, with all the possibilities and challenges that comes with that. Things can change quickly here, and so you’ll need to enjoy that type of environment. It’s a small (but mighty) team, which means you can both work independently and use your superpowers to help others. We’re also partly remote, so bonus points if you know how deal with that in an effective way!
Why work at Lynk & Co?
· Carve out a space in a new brand and help shape the future of mobility
· Grow your skills in a culture of learning and personal development
· Work in a fast-paced environment with a small team that punches considerably above its weight (and makes time to have fun while we do it)
